 | | Jerome Williams (Jae) is the Executive Producer and host of the number one urban inspirational talk show on 50,000-watt station WHKW 1220 AM titled “What’s Up with the Church;” Developer of an inspirational television channel; and Publicity Agent for Marvelous Entertainment, ALW Entertainment and Cleveland’s own Fair Family Singers. Jae spearheaded the development and launch of radio station WCCD 1000 AM for New Spirit Revival Center during its first year under the Local Management Agreement (LMA) from Salem Broadcasting, proving that a 500-watt station could make a difference. Jae created and co-hosted “The Throne Room,” a live call-in talk program, with Reverend Scott. |
Jae is a 2004 Broadcaster’s National Hall of Fame Inductee with 29 years of broadcasting experience in Northeast Ohio, and the hottest gospel air personality in the midwest. He is a former television producer and host for the WORD Network show “Late Night with Jae;” Chief Operating Officer of the PACE FOUNDATION; Director of the Prevention/Intervention Lecture Series Day Camp; Facilitator of Northeast Ohio’s “Dope is for Dopes” prevention and intervention program; Facilitator of a Northeast Ohio Mentoring Program; member of East Cleveland School District’s Gang Task Force; member of the First Baptist Church of Greater Cleveland; member of the United Pastors in Mission media department, and Baptist Ministers Conference of Cleveland and Vicinity media department; and a member of the NAACP, SCLC and the Urban League.
Jae is a graduate of John Adams High School, Ashland University, and the Standard Oil School of Management. Jae is married to Mary Elizabeth Murphy-Williams and has two daughters and two sons.
