“The Performing Arts, Community, Education and Economics Foundation”

The PACE FOUNDATION was awarded 501c3 status on January 13, 2007, from the State of Ohio, Employer Identification Number: 87-0765799, DLN: 17053122061046.

Although we have just been awarded the 501c3 status this year, we have been serving Northeast Ohio for more than ten years and making a difference while using our own resources in Cleveland, Lorain, Elyria, and the surrounding suburbs.

We believe that by obtaining the 501c3 status, we will increase our resources and provide a greater opportunity for financial support to help us to serve the needs of the community as set forth in our goals for Northeast Ohio.

We believe we are providing the platform for several generations to be the best they can be by experiencing the outreach provided by PACE.

The mission of the Performing Arts, Community, Education and Economics Foundation (PACE) is to engage, cultivate and educate diverse audiences about the arts and culture of the African Diaspora and provide opportunities for artistic and creative expression. PACE will become a global resource for education and information for organizations serving artists, audiences, teachers and students. PACE is undertaking a comprehensive program designed to introduce students to the complex history of African American culture. The PACE education and family program specifically develops new materials to strengthen existing school curriculum in history and culture to include an understanding and appreciation of the contributions of people of African descent. PACE offers year round education and family programs which have been structured to provide children, families, educators and the general public with means to explore and understand the history and culture of the African Diaspora.

We are dedicated to celebrating and exploring the influence of the rich and unique heritage of the peoples of the African Diaspora by providing an artistic and cultural forum for artists like Kirk Franklin, Clarence Fountain and the Five Blind Boys, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Sensational Williams Brothers, The Caravans, Harvey Watkins Jr. and The Canton Spirituals, Wynton Marsalis, The Neville Family, Irma Thomas, Maya Angelou, Ruby Dee, Nikki Giovanni, Sam Gilliam and many emerging and next generation artists.

PACE celebrates and nurtures this precious cultural heritage for our children and many generations to come. Please consider joining us in safeguarding this precious cultural heritage.
